Weather Watch from Plockton School in Scotland

Weather Watch from Plockton School in Scotland

Date: 29 Nov 2009

Here's the weather data for Plockton Primary School in Rosshire Scotland, which has just 60+ pupils.

The school overlooks the Isle of Skye on the West Coast of Scotland. You can see it in the picture, behind the fishermens cottages.

The headteacher...Mr Niall Mackinon writes:

"We've got an official weather recording station just across the road. The  recorder there, worked with our pupils for the 2 weeks...November 9th -20th.

Rainfall is for the previous 24 hours

When you look at our wet day (24mm), that's about an inch in imperial measurements, just a tenth of what Cockermouth got that day! Just think what terrible floods they have had ".
